visions glimpsed, imaginings
desires and apprehensions
the wheel of life forever spins
now letting go the tensions

accumulated day by day
hour by hour, each minute
illuminated by a ray
of hope and I am in it

disappearing darkness light
overcomes the gloom
making visible the sight
of an end to doom

the universe goes on and on
perpetually reforming
in this place we all belong
in this world we're born in

tick tick tock time slips by
awake and too when sleeping
imagining a different sky
imagining I'm deep in

a universe in harmony
consciousness awaking
in undisturbed serenity -
simply meditating....
